Course, RH199 RHCSA Rapid Track course, relates to Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9 and is designed for students who already have significant experience with Linux administration. The course reviews the tasks covered in Red Hat System Administration I and II at an accelerated pace.

This course is based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 9.0 technologies.

Course overview

On completion of the course, students should be prepared to take the Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) exam.

Note: RH199 RHCSA Rapid Track course builds on a student’s existing understanding of command-line based Linux system administration. Students should be able to execute common commands using the shell, work with common command options, and access man pages for help. Students lacking this knowledge are strongly encouraged to take RH124 Red Hat System Administration I and / or RH134 Red Hat System Administration II instead.

Audience for this course

  • Students for this class should have 1-3 years of full time Linux administration experience.

Prerequisites for this course

  • You will be expected to already understand fundamental Linux computing concepts and be ready to practice the Red Hat Enterprise Linux methods for performing system administration tasks.
  • Experiences with working with Linux as a system administrator is recommended.
  • Confirmation of the correct skill-set knowledge can be obtained by passing the online skills assessment.
