SUSE Manager, the Linux management product with Salt

This course – SMGR201 SUSE Manager Administration – prepares attendees to install SUSE Manager 3.1, configure the SUSE Manager 3.1 server in their environment, register their existing or new servers to SUSE Manager, use Salt configuration management, search for CVE vulnerabilities, patch servers, use Subscription Matching, add Organizations and use the SUSE Manager Proxy Server. It also prepares students for the SUSE Certified Administrator in Systems Management certification.

SUSE Manager 3.1 adds support for Salt (https://saltstack.com/) based configuration management.

This course is based on SUSE Manager 3.1.
