Intro to SUSE CaaS Platform Administration

This course – CAAS201 SUSE CaaS Platform Administration – is designed for system administrators, DevOps, system engineers and others who want to be introduced to SUSE CaaS Platform, Containers and Kubernetes.

Participants begin with an introduction to containers and container orchestration, followed by the installation of SUSE CaaS Platform. Furthermore they will learn about and explore Kubernetes, including adding nodes, networking, security, and using Helm to deploy applications. Participants conclude the course by performing basic tasks in a Kubernetes cluster.

This course is based on SUSE CaaS Platform version 4 technologies and prepares the participants to take and pass the Foundational Assessment on SUSE CaaS Platform exam.

Prerequisites for this course

• Attendees should have familiarity with the Command Line, Linux System Administration skills and attention to details.
• SUSE Certified Administrator SCA – Enterprise Linux or SUSE Certified Engineer SCE – Enterprise Linux certification or level of experience recommended.
