Red Hat Updates Certification Exam Retake Policy
Red Hat, the world’s leading provider of open source solutions, recently announced an updated Red Hat Training and Certification exam retake policy that offers candidates an opportunity to retake individual and preliminary exams at no additional cost, providing more opportunities for aspiring IT professionals to become certified.
Certification candidates who purchase individual or preliminary exams after February 6, 2023, or purchased before February 6, 2023, and have not taken the purchased exam yet are eligible to retake the exam. The certification exam retake policy will only apply to individuals taking exams at testing centers and remote exams.
Additionally, Red Hat Learning Subscription subscribers will now receive additional exam benefits with the following subscriptions:
- RHLS – Standard and Premium subscribers are now provided with five first attempts for five different exams and the opportunity to retake all five
- RHLS – Developer subscribers are now provided with three first attempts for three different exams and the opportunity to retake all three
An unsuccessful first attempt is usually the road to a successful second attempt for many people, so we hope this will help candidates fill their talent and skill gaps in their workforces.
